PWARegistry uses one validation engine for Check and Submit. They cannot disagree.
Results are:

| PASS | Fundamental and quality checks succeeded. Optional capabilities may be absent. |
| PASS WITH WARNINGS | Fundamentals succeeded; quality issues remain. Eligible for the registry. |
| FAIL | One or more fundamental requirements failed. Not added. |
There is no public 0–100 score.
Checks are grouped:
- Fundamental — required to be a sufficiently good PWA for this registry.
- Quality — expected of a well-built PWA; missing items warn.
- Optional — enhancements such as file handlers. Missing items are skipped, not failed.
A calculator must not fail because it does not implement push notifications, file handlers, or Bluetooth.
